NuvScan Data Deletion Request

Documents, scanned pages, folders, thumbnails, editing information and related local scan data can be deleted directly from within NuvScan.

To delete a document:

1. Open NuvScan.
2. Go to Documents.
3. Open the menu for the document you want to remove.
4. Select Delete.
5. Confirm the deletion.

If available, you may also delete folders or individual pages from within the relevant document or folder screen.

Deleting a locally stored document removes that document from NuvScan on that device, subject to Android storage and backup behavior.

You can also remove all locally stored NuvScan application data through Android:

Android Settings → Apps → NuvScan → Storage → Clear storage / Clear data

Uninstalling NuvScan may also remove app-private local data, depending on your Android device and backup settings.

NuvScan does not require users to create an account.

However, limited technical or purchase-related information may be processed for purposes such as:

• verifying a Lifetime Pro purchase;
• restoring purchase entitlements;
• preventing purchase abuse;
• responding to support requests; or
• complying with legal and financial obligations.

Please include enough information for us to identify the relevant record, such as:

• your Google Play purchase order ID, if the request concerns a purchase;
• the approximate purchase date;
• the country or region of purchase; and
• any previous support reference related to your request.

Do not send us scanned documents, identity documents, passwords, full payment-card numbers, or sensitive document contents.

Depending on the information we hold and the nature of your request, deletion may include:

• support-related information you previously provided;
• purchase-verification metadata that is no longer required;
• technical records associated with your request, where legally permitted; and
• other server-side information that can reasonably be associated with you.

Some information may need to be retained where required for:

• legal obligations;
• tax or accounting requirements;
• fraud prevention;
• security;
• purchase verification;
• resolving disputes;
• enforcing applicable terms; or
• demonstrating compliance with regulatory requirements.

Where retention is required, the information will be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the applicable purpose.

Jythu Enterprises does not normally receive or store the document images you scan through NuvScan.

If the document exists only on your device, Jythu Enterprises cannot remotely delete it for you.

You must delete such documents from within NuvScan, Android storage, or any third-party location to which you exported or shared them.

If you purchased NuvScan Lifetime Pro through Google Play, Google may independently retain transaction or account information under Google's own terms and privacy policies.

A deletion request submitted to Jythu Enterprises does not automatically delete data held independently by Google or by another service to which you exported a document.

We will review valid deletion requests within a reasonable period and in accordance with applicable law.

We may contact you if additional information is reasonably necessary to verify or complete the request.
